What Makes a Great Explanation?

The Realm of Rodda have just finished learning about explanations. Explanations tell us why or how.  We began by examining and explaining 'The Water Cycle'. Next, we explained 'How Tadpoles Change Into Frogs'. We then investigated 'How Popcorn Kernels Pop', which was a very tasty explanation! Finally, we explained 'How We Sneeze'.

Can you explain the Water Cycle?

  2. Water evaporates into the air and stores in clouds. When the cloud gets full it turns grey and water falls out in to the seas, oceans and rivers. Then it evaporates again. J.T.

  3. The water from lakes and rivers gets evaporated and it turns into steam. It forms clouds which rain down upon us. Then this keeps on happening.
