We are having such an exciting day in the Realm of Rodda today! We have had lots of fun enjoying all of the Year 5/6 market day stalls and it has just started to snow!
Can you research and explain what conditions are required for it to snow?
It must be cold in the sky and on the ground. If the air near the ground is too warm the snow will melt on its way down. Moisture is also needed to form clouds. J.T.
It was beautiful, and also unexpected!

It was so fun playing In the snow. I wish that it didn't melt and that it stayed on the ground so that we could play in it more.

DeleteSnow forms when the atmospheric temperature is at or below freezing (0*C or 34*F) and there is moisture in the air.
