Grandfriends' Maths Morning

We are lucky enough to have lots of special visitors in the Realm of Rodda today. We have lots of fun activities and games to play, so that we can share some of the amazing learning we do during maths.




Choose one of the activities that you have shared today from the list above and explain what you taught your visitor about that maths activity.


Remember to include your first name only and have an adult check it first, so your post should look like this: 

I made some symmetrical shapes using the Geoboards on the ipads with Mrs. Evans. I taught Mrs. Evans that for a shape to be symmetrical one side has to be a mirror image of the other.

  5. I taught my Grandad how to do my trick on Mathletics, when doing division. I circle the counters into groups to get my answer when dividing.

  6. We really enjoyed our time at grandfriends day. The games were good fun and clever but Grace kept beating us.

  7. I was using the pattern blocks and I was making symmetrical shapes. Shapes can have more than 1 line of symmetry. J.T.

  10. I did my secret number and I taught my mum how to play it. My sister also played with us and when she was finished writing down all of her numbers she circled her secret number it was so funny but my sister didn't think it was funny so she got mad at me and my mum for laughing.
