Students have recently been revising and learning a range of addition strategies. Year 4 practised these strategies by purchasing items from around the classroom... and they got some bargains!
What would you buy and what would be the most efficient strategy?

$2 + $3 = $5 80 + 20 = $1 5 + 5 = 10
$5 + $1 + 10 = $6.10
