Graphing Greatness

Year 4 have been investigating data collection and graphing in Maths. They were given the task of developing a census question and then collecting data from the other year 4 students and teachers. They then had to put their data into a table. After that they looked at both bar and line graphs. Finally students had to analyse their data and make some statements about what their data showed. Take a look at some of the sensational work that the year 4 students produced.

  1. Nice work Year 4 :) I use graphs on a daily/weekly/monthly basis in my job so I can keep an eye on various IT Networks that fall within my teams area of responsibility. We primarily use “line” graphs so we see can quickly see if IT Networks are performing below expectations and then ensure that these are addressed in a timely manner.
