Fine Motor skills

Anything children do with their hands relies on the fine motor muscles and skills. At school children spend up to 60% of their day performing tasks that involve the use of their fine motor skills.

In the Realm of Rodda we practice our fine motor skills every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Fine motor skills help to improve our writing, drawing, and manipulation skills.

Have a look at some of the fun activities that help us to improve our fine motor skills.

What fun or creative activities have you tried at home that use fine motor skills?

  1. Love seeing all the fine motor activities that you do at school. There's always lots of crafting at our house, especially crochet. That keeps my fine motor skills in use!
