Year 3/4 Assembly

It has been a very busy two weeks in Hogwarts, we had our Grandfriends Morning and Student Led Conferences last week and today we hosted the assembly. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our parents/carers/grandparents and other loved ones that have taken the time to come in and share lots of our amazing learning with us. We have had a fantastic time showing you all of the different activites, games and learning that we work so hard on every day to help us become smarter!

Earlier this term we were learning how to write to explain, today in our assembly we sang the Water Cycle Rap, which we used to help us learn how to explain the Water Cycle.Take a look at the rap we sang and danced along to!

During the assembly, we shared some of the amazing Lipograms that have been written during our Quickwrite time. A Lipogram is a piece of writing where we describe a picture with one letter omitted. So if the letter 'e' is omitted then you can not use any words in your writing with that letter in it. We work hard to use lots of descriptive language in our writing.

To finish off our assembly we shared some of the Soil Solutions that were made during our Science Inquiry - Beneath Our Feet. We also showed some of the annotated diagrams that we did of our solutions.

Thank you again to all of our family, friends and loved ones that have shared in our learning!

What is something interesting or new that you have learnt about or are currently learning about?

(Most interesting answer gets a bonus 5 raffle tickets!!)
