On Friday the Realm of Rodda was lucky enough to visit the National Zoo and Aquarium. We had lots of time to explore the Zoo and Aquarium, we also had a guided tour and learnt some interesting information about the animals and the biomes that they live in.

Probably the most exciting part of our tours was when some of us were able to feed Lions and Tigers! We also had opportunities to hold or pat a Snake, feed an Emu or a Kangaroo and  feed some Deer. It was a fantastic day and we all had an amazing time!

What is your favorite animal at the Zoo and what is an interesting fact about your animal that you can share with us?

Fairy Tales - The Musical

Yesterday Year 3/4 attended the Melba Copland Secondary School performance of 'Fairy Tales'. We had a fantastic time and enjoyed watching what might happen if fairy tale characters decided they were unhappy in their story and decided to switch places for a day.

Biome Art

The Realm of Rodda have been investigating different Biomes during our Geography Inquiry this term. One of the Biomes we have learnt about are the Grasslands. As a part of our learning we created some amazing African Savanna Sunsets.

Take a look at some of the beautiful works of art we created, which included animals from the Savanna, such as giraffes, elephants, lions, and rhinoceros.

What super Savanna information can you share with us?
